Attorney, David Candler Hicks
David Candler Hicks has been a member of the Florida Bar Association since 1993. He is a third generation Floridian and has been in private practice since 1998. Mr. Hicks earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University’s College of Law. Upon graduation, David worked for the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office as a staff attorney before serving as Counsel for several litigation firms. Having gained extensive experience in public and private sectors, Mr. Hicks opened the Alliance Legal Group focused upon defending consumers & professionals rights.
Attorney, Eric Chrisner
Eric J. Chrisner grew up in New Jersey and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder attaining a B.A. in Philosophy. He later went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law. Less than 1 year after graduating from law school, Mr. Chrisner was admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. His primary areas of practice are foreclosure defense, employment law, contract/commercial litigation, and general civil litigation. Mr. Chrisner prides himself on fully investigating and zealously pursuing all claims and defenses on behalf of his clients.
Attorney, Joe Benson
For the past 11 plus years Joe Benson has tirelessly represented consumers and debtors against all of the major insurance companies and Banks here in the State of Florida. Joe has successfully litigated numerous cases all across the State. He currently focuses his practice on personal injury (including but not limited to automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, theme park accidents, premises liability, negligent security, slip and falls, and wrongful death) as well as highly litigated debtor cases (foreclosure and credit card cases).
Prior to joining Alliance Legal Group, Mr. Benson spent eleven plus years representing clients injured due to the negligence of others and holding them accountable. He has also spent the last 8 years fighting for the debtor. Representing individuals and companies that have creditors/banks harassing them or filing suit against them. In all cases the client will know that they not only have a voice in the courtroom, but a dedicated, aggressive, litigator that will go to battle for them. Joe was raised in Arlington, Virginia and obtained his B.A. degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Joe was a division I college scholarship tennis athlete. Upon graduation, Joe served his country by enlisting into the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman with pharmacy technician sub-specialty. After the military Joe attended law school and graduated from Barry University School of Law with all of the marks of excellence one could from law school. He was a lead article editor for Law Review, a member of Moot Court, and an accomplished member of the State recognized Trial Team.
Of Counsel Attorney, Megan Lyons
Megan Lyons attended Kenyon College and graduated magna cum laude in 2003. She subsequently attended the University of New York at Buffalo and graduated in 2007. Megan has been in private practice since 2008 and opened her own law firm, Megan Lyons PA. Her areas of expertise are debtor-creditor law, bankruptcy, collections, foreclosure, and all areas of civil litigation.
Of Counsel Attorney, Josh Schoen
Josh Schoen graduated with high honors from the University of Rhode Island obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree. Thereafter, he graduated with honors from the University of Miami earning his law degree. With over 17 years of trial experience, Josh has represented thousands of individuals charged with crimes ranging from simple traffic offenses to first degree murder and has represented individuals with all types of legal problems. Josh is a Board Certified Criminal Trial Attorney, which means that he is certified by the Florida Bar as a Specialist in Criminal Trial Law. Board Certification by the Florida Bar is the highest level of recognition given by the Florida Bar.
Of Counsel Attorney, Vincent C. Lobue
Vincent C. LoBue is an Of-Counsel attorney with the firm practicing in consumer protection litigation and the prosecution of BP Claims. Vince is a member of the Florida and New Jersey bar associations, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
Vince received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. Prior to entering law school Vince received a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. Vince was born and raised in Long Valley, New Jersey and currently resides in St. Pete Beach, Florida.

Samuel P. Bennett, P.A. is a knowledgeable and friendly north central Florida attorney dedicated to providing quality legal advice and services to each client and with fair legal fees.

Attorney, Keith A. Fousek
I have experience in appellate procedures and have been involved in numerous appeals, as first and second chair on appeals in both the 3rd and 4th District Courts of Appeals.
I am familiar with and have a good working relationships with the various judges and general magistrates in Lee, Manatee, Sarasota, Broward, Dade and Palm Beach Counties. I have represented several clients who were in the military or married to military personnel. I have represented clients in annulment actions. Other areas of law include General Litigation, Commercial Defense, Personal Injury, foreclosure defense and Criminal. I currently attend Court on various related matters involving litigation. I have sat first and second chair in divorce trials.
I have sat first and second chair on several jury trials, both civil and criminal. My duties included, drafting pleadings, motions, letters, memorandums of law, research, communications with insurance companies, opposing attorneys and settlement negotiations. I previously represented the Ambassador from the Dominican Republic to the United States as in house counsel for five years and his companies in various types of litigation in both state trial and appellate and the federal courts.
Attorney, Alexander T. Dowding
Alexander T. Dowding is an associate attorney with Alliance Legal Group and represents individuals in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies. After completing his bachelor’s degree at Florida State University he attended the St. Thomas University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctorate. Mr. Dowding practices almost exclusively in bankruptcy law and prides himself on helping individuals who are in challenging financial situations.
Of Counsel Attorney, Aaron J. Irving
Aaron, a Central Florida native, graduated from Leesburg High School, Leesburg, Florida. Thereafter, Aaron attended The Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and while in Tallahassee, Aaron worked as a legislative intern for both the Florida Senate and Florida House of Representatives.
After attending Florida Coastal School of Law and successfully passing the Florida Bar in 2010, Aaron began his legal career working with individuals affected by the BP Oil Spill as a contract specialist and local counsel for the Jacksonville, Florida office. In 2011, Aaron opened his own boutique law practice and subsequently merged this practice with Integrity Law, P.A. in 2013.
Aaron is a member of St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral, is an avid runner and a reader of history and theology. Aaron is a recipient of Buzz Magazines 2013 30 under 30 for Jacksonville, Florida. Aaron is also an adjunct professor teaching family law to paralegals at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Of Counsel Attorney, Troy M. Farquhar
Troy grew up in Lakeland, Florida and attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland. Thereafter, Troy moved to Jacksonville in 2005 to attend Florida Coastal School of Law and graduated in the top 15 percent of his class.
While at Florida Coastal, Troy achieved three of the highest awards in a class, known as a book award, in the areas of remedies, pre-litigation drafting and criminal procedure.
In addition to his work for the firm, he volunteers his time doing pro bono work for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid. Troy also works as a Guardian Ad Litem representing the best interests of children in the dependency system.
